Mission and Membership

The Jeffrey Modell Canadian Immunodeficiency Network is a program of the Canadian Immunodeficiency Society (CI Society)

Mission

To serve as a highly respected healthcare resource across Canada that fosters early diagnosis of Primary Immune Deficiencies and ensures that PI patients have access to excellent care. This is accomplished through networking, knowledge dissemination and communication with healthcare professionals, patients and the general public.

The goal is to increase the diagnosed patient base.

Objectives

  • Improve the health of Canadians who have PI.
  • Promote PI awareness in healthcare professionals.
  • Increase public awareness of PI.
  • Be a meeting ground for the PI community.
  • Provide leadership on PI health issues.
  • Encourage broad community engagement.
  • Align activities and programs, share best practices and synergize efforts.

In meeting our objectives, we welcome the participation of network sites and affiliates across Canada.
